Saint Remy and environs are located in the Northeasterly corner of the
Town of Esopus, Ulster County, NY. Saint Remy was founded in the year 1762.
Ulster County is about one hundred years older.
Ulster County is in the true heart of the Catskill Mountains, running
from the Hudson river on the east through the central catskills to the west.
Ulster is one of the original counties of New York State and the county seat
is Kingston, NY.

We operate out of two stations and cover about seven square miles of territory. Our district is about ten miles from end to end. This is a mostly residential and rural area, with some religious facilities, one large manufacturing complex, and many home businesses. Population is around 2500 people. The Rondout Creek makes up our northern and western boundries.
