In 2001 Kenneth Rowe took on the task of restoring the Rifton Cemetery (now called Perrine Cemetery) as his Eagle Scout Project. Kenneth and his crew of volunteers cleaned and raked, reset stones, built a new iron gate, and moved a stone wall about four feet. Here are a few photos of the crew in action.

Part of the crew is beginning to move the stone wall four feet further back from the highway. They did a beautiful job.

The majority of the old gravestone inscriptions are still readable. The scouts spent their breaks reading them.
